Victory Pushes Torch Record to 13-7
|
A 3-RBI performance from Thiago Cicerón, who is tied for 10th in the SA in stolen bases with 3, helped the Mancelona Torch beat the Cut Off Crawdads, 7-4. The Torch have an impressive 13-7 record.
Had Francisco Rocha not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Rocha hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Torch.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Cicerón said after the game.
