Jets Top Hobeaus in Extras
|
Kennesaw Jets starter Pete Miller was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Smoky Mountain Hobeaus, 5-2. With the win, Kennesaw elevates its record to 8-5.
Kennesaw used the timely hitting of Scotty Forrest to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Jets on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"I like our resilience," said Miller.
