The Kennesaw Jets topped the Washington Generals by the score of 6-3, with the biggest share of the credit going to center fielder Russ Boucher. Boucher went 3 for 3 with 3 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 runs for the Jets on the day. Kennesaw reliever Sean Boyd picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-0. Johnny Ijzendoorn was collared with the loss. With the loss, Washington is 3-7.
Kennesaw took a 4-3 lead on Ta-hye Keng's 9th hit of the season. The 2-run single, which Keng hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Washington pitcher Johnny Ijzendoorn shaking his head.
"It feels good to get this one," Keng told the Kennesaw Bulletin.
