Comets Stick Yinzers with 8-5 Loss
The Kent Comets picked up a win at Dragoons War Memorial Stadium, knocking off the Monroeville Yinzers, 8-5. Starting pitcher Fredrick Shive, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The loss drops Monroeville to 1-3.

Octávio Obezo dealt the Yinzers a blow in the top of the first. Batting with the bases loaded and Kent leading 1-0, Obezo hit a 0-1 fastball for a 2-run single.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Obezo said.
