Kingston Mangos starter Vicente Castro turned in an exceptional performance against the Syracuse Storm at Mango Yard, resulting in a Kingston win, 4-2. Jonathan Vega converted his 8th save in 13 tries. Kingston is now 43-47, while Syracuse is 43-47.

Kingston took a 4-2 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning. With two out, shortstop Cory Blatchford hit a 2-run home run that aroused the crowd.
