It was a fun time at Walleye Tank, where the Pontiac Godfathers and Walla Walla Walleye tangled.

The Pontiac Godfathers got a sterling performance from pitcher Basilio Delgado, but the Walleye still prevailed, 4-3. Delgado was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball. The 8th-place Walleye have won 5 in a row.

Walla Walla took a 4-2 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning. With two out, third baseman Víctor Pagueros hit a 3-run home run that electrified the crowd.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Pagueros told the Walla Walla Chronicle.
