Loss to BC Extends Grand Forks Losing Streak
|
Kunimatsu Uchida was superb against Grand Forks. The right-hander, who is tied for 7th in the 3A with a 2.59 ERA, had a slider that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a 5-4 BC victory. Reliever Aaron Rigsby picked up the win. His record improves to 3-1. Tommy Tillman took the loss. The slumping Caterpillars have lost 7 straight.
Bud Mullins took Tommy Tillman deep in the bottom of the seventh. His 2-run home run put the BC on top, 5-3. In all, Mullins had 2 singles in addition to the home run, while going 3 for 4.
"It feels good to get this one," Mullins told the Put-In-Bay Observer.
