Shredders Get Road Win, 8-2

The Hollywood Shredders beat the Ft. Worth Cattlemen, 8-2, at The Cattle Pen. Hollywood shortstop Sayed Walid earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Eric Mason, credited with the save, is now 1 for 2 in save opportunities. The Shredders have an impressive 67-38 record.
Walid came through with some timely hitting for Hollywood. With the score 4-1 in the top of the ninth and two down, Walid hit a 2-0 fastball for a grand slam home run. His 6th home run of the season made it 8-1, Hollywood.
Walid attributed the win to "a well-rounded effort by the whole team."
