Pitcher Ryan Riley was sensational for the Yucca Valley Yellows in his team's 3-0 triumph over the Idaho Falls Chukars. Riley received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. Danny Kas earned the save for Yucca Valley, his 7th of the year. Yucca Valley, now 45-30, holds 4th place in the Menard's A.

Riley made it look effortless. He scattered 3 hits over 6.2 innings, while racking up 14 strikeouts. The Yucca Valley left-hander encountered little resistance from the Idaho Falls hitters. His season record is now 9-2.

"I don't feel you win baseball games by working harder than the other team or 'wanting it more,'" Riley told the Yucca Valley Observer. "You win just by scoring more runs."
