Riley Dazzles in Yucca Valley Win
Ryan Riley was superb against Kingston. The left-hander, who is tied for 2nd in the 3A with a 12.8 K/9 rate, had a knuckleball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a 3-1 Yellows victory. The 4th-place Yellows lifted their record to 43-28.

Riley, a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was dealing all game. He kept Kingston hitters off-balance, while giving the Yellows 8 quality innings. Riley threw 107 pitches, allowing 2 hits and striking out 9.

"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Riley.
