Thunder Hawks Best Sixshooters in Pitching Duel
The Westwood Sixshooters wasted an impressive 5.2-inning effort from starter Raúl Reyes, falling 2-0 to the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks at Sixshooters Stadium. Ft. Polk South reliever Scott Richardson picked up the win, upping his record to 9-7. Raúl Reyes was saddled with the loss. Today's win puts Ft. Polk South at 27-37, while Westwood falls to 26-38.

In the top of the first, Wendel Koudstaal ambushed a first pitch fastball from Raúl Reyes and hit a solo home run. It gave Ft. Polk South a quick 1-0 lead.

"We didn't score," said losing manager Juan Gusmán. "That was the problem."
