Westwood rode a decent outing from starter Raśl Reyes to victory over the St. Petersburg Thunder at Baby Thunder Dome. The final score was 6-3. At 18-26, the Sixshooters are currently last in the Premier AA.

Westwood used the timely hitting of Ricardo Urquijo to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Sixshooters on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"It's always nice to be on the winning side," Urquijo told the Westwood News. "But we take nothing for granted."
