Expos Lose, 3-1, at Put-In-Bay Ballpark

Pitcher Aaron Rigsby was sensational for the Put-In-Bay BC in his team's 3-1 triumph over the Niagara Falls Expos. Rigsby received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. Put-In-Bay reliever Aaron Rigsby got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Jim Steel was tagged with the loss. Claude Richardson, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 15th save.
The BC got a big at-bat from right fielder Bud Mullins. For the game, Mullins was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 9th home run of the season gave Put-In-Bay a 3-1 lead.
"Been a rough stretch for us," said Niagara Falls manager Alan Manor.
The Expos, at 14-17, have lost 6 in a row.
