Da-xia Hui had a good game, but he could not keep the Ithaca Fighting Imps from falling, 2-1, to the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks at Imps Park. The Ithaca shortstop went 4 for 5 with 4 singles and a walk in the loss. Jeremy Bearimy picked up the save for Ft. Polk South, his 1st of the year. The last-place Fighting Imps have lost 5 consecutive games.

Ft. Polk South used the timely hitting of John Allen to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 12th inning to put the Thunder Hawks on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 6 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

In postgame remarks, Allen simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
