Kingston Makes It 7 Straight with 3-2 Win
The Mangos grabbed a win, 3-2, at Mango Yard, overcoming a fine effort from Yucca Valley pitcher Steve Walden. Walden went 8 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. The winning continues for Kingston, with the latest making it 7 straight.

Late in the game, center fielder Miguel Lajara had a big at-bat for Kingston. In the bottom of the 11th, he hit a run-scoring single off Graviel Azevedo. The play gave the Mangos a 3-2 lead.

"We take it day by day here," said Lajara, "and today was a good one for us."
