Put-In-Bay rode a fine outing from starter Bruce Kimsey to victory over the Yucca Valley Yellows at Ballpark of Yucca Valley. The final score was 1-0. Kimsey, now 2-1, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 3, walking 0, and allowing no earned runs. The BC boast a remarkable 17-4 record.
Ijsbert Reynoud drove in one run for Put-In-Bay. The 20-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the top of the fifth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off George Crane. It was his 8th RBI of the season.
