Koumura Leads Sixshooters to Win over Screaming Eagles
Westwood played host to Mercer Island at the friendly confines of Sixshooters Stadium.

Hisashi Koumura had a 3-RBI game, during Westwood's 9-5 triumph over the Mercer Island. Koumura contributed 3 singles and 1 home run to the cause. Jack Croucher, who went 5.2 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 4 runs on 11 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 1. His record now stands at 1-1. Finley Brinley earned the save for Westwood, his 3rd of the year.

Luis Benítez was a prime factor in the win for the Sixshooters. In the bottom of the first with one out, the 28-year old first baseman hit a 2-run triple. He was 1 for 4 with a triple and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Benítez told the Westwood News.

Losses have been few and far between for the Screaming Eagles so far this season. Their record drops to 10-5.
