|
Boston rode a fine outing from starter Nicky Bogdan to victory over the Greenville 84s at 84s Field. The final score was 5-1. The winning pitcher was Bogdan, now 10-5. He tossed 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 0 and fanning 3. The Patriots, at 62-32, lead by one game in their division.
It could have been a different outcome for Boston, had it not been for Jae-woo Ohm, the reigning Gold Bat winner . Ohm contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put Boston up, 4-0.
