The Crescent City Krewe scored a 3-2 win versus the Ottawa Nationals at Nationals Park. Crescent City pitcher Taine Poutini nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Paul Thomas finished the game for Crescent City and earned his 13th save.

Crescent City used the clutch hitting of Tim Hankins to capture the win. The left fielder drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to give the Krewe the lead, 3-2. For the game, Hankins had 1 single and 1 double in 3 at-bats.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Hankins. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."

The 4th-place Krewe have won 4 straight.
