Fans who came to Experimental Stadium watched the Gwinnett Guinea Pigs and the Akron Blimps fight to the finish.

The Gwinnett Guinea Pigs racked up a win at Experimental Stadium, bumping off the Akron Blimps, 4-3. Gaberiela Tatafu, who started for Gwinnett, pitched effectively for his team. Gwinnett is now 41-41.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Gwinnett designated hitter Paul Fields, facing Jorge Pagán, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Guinea Pigs the 4-3 win.

"This was one of those 'not to be denied' games," said Gwinnett field general Enrique Fuentes.
