Patriots Stumble, Lose to Cattlemen
Getting a good performance from center fielder Shawn Kyllo, the Ft. Worth Cattlemen defeated the Boston Patriots, 9-3. Kyllo went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Cattlemen. The Cattlemen are now 30-58, while the Patriots fall to 57-31.

In the top of the first, Semo Hoaloha ambushed a 2-1 cutter from Peer Slooters and hit a 2-run home run. It gave Ft. Worth a quick 2-0 lead.

In postgame comments to the Ft. Worth Chronicle, Hoaloha said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
