Nationals Raise Rally Flag, Beat Akron, 3-2

Fans who gathered at Nationals Park saw a good contest between the Ottawa Nationals and Akron Blimps.
Henry Terry pitched well, but his team, the Akron Blimps, still dropped a 3-2 decision to the Ottawa Nationals at Nationals Park. Ottawa reliever Tony Cowan was the winner. His record is now 2-1. The losing pitcher was Henry Terry.
Joe Padilla was 1 for 3 with a walk for Ottawa. The 26-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Jorge Pagán. It was his 20th walk of the season.
"This is a very good team," said Padilla. "We have the chance to do something special."
Today's win puts Ottawa at 37-28, while Akron falls to 34-31.
