Turbeaus Get Close Win Over Pierogis
The Gulf Coast Turbeaus got a strong performance from pitcher Marcos del Pozo, who stymied the Squirrel Hill offense en route to a 2-1 win at Mobile Home Park. Gulf Coast now sits at 28-37, while Squirrel Hill falls to 25-40.

Gulf Coast took a 2-1 lead on Yoshitora Nakayama's 20th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Nakayama hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Squirrel Hill pitcher Jerry Reid visibly frustrated.

"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said Nakayama.
