Benefiting from Richard Jost's productive game, the Baltimore Bullets downed the Ft. Worth Cattlemen, 5-3. Jost went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 times for the Bullets. Ft. Worth is in the throes of a 11-game skid.
In the bottom of the fifth inning, third baseman Meester Gobbles-Rooster came through big-time for the Bullets. With Baltimore trailing 3-2, he belted a solo home run.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Baltimore manager Brandon Slouck. "It's usually not just one thing."
