Curtis goes 4-for-5, Leads Nationals to Win

The Ottawa Nationals trumped the Bethesda Atoms, 7-3, at Nationals Park. Ottawa second baseman Dave Curtis was named player of the game for his performance. He was 4 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Ottawa goes to 33-25, Bethesda to 31-27.
Ed Reese, the Ottawa center fielder, contributed a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth inning to make the score 4-2, Nationals. For the game, Reese was 1 for 4 with a walk.
