Polkinghorne hits 5th home run, Leads Fur Traders to Win
Fur Traders third baseman Nathan Polkinghorne put his stamp on his team's 7-3 win over the Casper Ghosts. Polkinghorne went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for Tacoma in the contest. Tacoma has a 3-game win streak, while Casper has lost 3 in a row.

Polkinghorne came through with some timely hitting for Tacoma. With the score 1-1 in the bottom of the first and two down, Polkinghorne hit a 3-1 fastball for a grand slam home run. His 5th home run of the season made it 5-1, Tacoma.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Polkinghorne told a Tacoma Observer reporter. "Sometimes we need just to relax."
