Ghosts Fall to .500 After Loss to Fur Traders
|
Pitcher Francis Riley was sensational for the Tacoma Fur Traders in his team's 4-1 triumph over the Casper Ghosts. Riley received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. Tacoma is last in the Silver AA with a record of 20-30.
Sam Bickerton dealt the Ghosts a blow in the bottom of the third. Batting with runners on 1st and 3rd and Tacoma leading 1-0, Bickerton, who is tied for 2nd in the SAA with a .349 batting average, hit a first pitch cutter for a 2-run triple.
"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Bickerton.
