Berrocal Helps Blimps Beat Pierogis
Akron catcher Salvador Berrocal was instrumental in his team's 13-8 win over the Squirrel Hill Pierogis. Berrocal went 4-5 with 3 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Blimps. Akron reliever Jack Young picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Todd Hunter absorbed the loss. The losing skid has reached 6 games for Squirrel Hill.

Berrocal had a key at-bat for Akron early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a run-scoring double. It was his 11th double of the season and gave Akron an early 1-0 lead.
