Nationals Pick Up 4-2 Win
|
Ottawa pitcher Motka Vidyasov did his part in helping his team beat the Crescent City Krewe, 4-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Vidyasov went 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 9 hits, walked 2, and struck out 5. His record improves to 3-0. Ottawa, now 22-20, holds 5th place in the Silver AA.
In the top of the third, Hulama Yani hit a 2-run home run for Ottawa. The 7th home run of the season for the Ottawa third baseman put the Nationals on top, 3-1.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Yani told the Ottawa Today.
