The Akron Blimps downed the Virginia Beach Whales, 6-2, at Virginia Beach Grounds. The Blimps were led by Felipe Medina, who captured player of the game honors. He went 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Akron, at 19-17, occupies 4th place in the Silver AA.
