Nick O'Quigley was instrumental in his team's 5-2 triumph over the Yakima Hops. The left fielder went 4 for 4 with a triple, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 times for the Lancaster Farmers. Kyle Greene earned the win for Lancaster. He lasted 5.1 innings, allowing 2 earned runs on 3 hits, while striking out 4. With the win, he raised his record to 7-9. Lancaster is now 32-54.
The Farmers got a big at-bat from catcher Eugene Walker. For the game, Walker went 1-4 with a home run. In the bottom of the fifth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 11th home run of the season gave Lancaster a 3-2 lead.
