Riley 'Lights Out' in Yucca Valley Win
Yucca Valley Yellows starter Ryan Riley kept the Pontiac Godfathers hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 8-0 win. The Yellows, now 3-0, have played some good baseball in the early going.

Riley, who has sometimes raised the ire of coaches and teammates with his famously lackadaisical work ethic, turned in a spirited effort. The hurler struck out 13 in 8.2 innings and gave up no earned runs.

Riley, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2041 draft, moves to 1-0 on the year with 13 strikeouts.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Yucca Valley manager Christian O'Dell.
