The Idaho Falls Chukars picked up a win at Idaho Falls Park, knocking off the Niagara Falls Expos, 3-2. Starting pitcher Dave Stafford, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. With the win, Idaho Falls goes to 2-1.

Matt Fuller was the walk-off hero for Idaho Falls. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Chukars left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"I liked his command," said Idaho Falls manager Sherwood Baker. "Dave was throwing strikes."
