5 Straight Wins for Shredders
It was a fun time at The Hollywood Bowl, where the Ft. Worth Cattlemen and Hollywood Shredders tangled.

Behind a solid performance from left fielder Ramón Rodríguez, the Hollywood Shredders defeated the Ft. Worth Cattlemen, 7-4. Rodríguez went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for the Shredders. Alvin Randolph was the winner. Over 5 innings, he allowed no runs on 3 hits, with no walks and 5 strikeouts.

Hollywood took a 5-0 lead on Rodríguez's 7th home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which he hit off Shigochiyo Tanaka in the bottom of the seventh, propelled Hollywood to the win.

Rodríguez told a local reporter: "My job is to go out and play as hard as I can."

The winning streak has now reached 5 games for Hollywood.
