Despite a great performance by Lancaster right fielder Raśl Miranda, the Irving Blue Sox defeated the Farmers by the score of 9-8 at Farmers Field. Miranda went 4 for 5 with a triple, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Irving reliever Ben Gillespie was the winner. His record is now 6-1. John Deemer took the loss. Irving now owns a record of 32-37.

Irving took the lead in the top of the seventh. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Bobby Verstraten stroked a run-scoring single to make it 9-8, Blue Sox.

"Enjoyed this one," Verstraten told the Irving Gazette. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
