The Marquette Miners beat the Irving Blue Sox, 8-2, at Blue Sox Ballpark. The Miners got a fine performance from third baseman Bang-xao Li, who captured player of the game honors. He hit 3 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring three times. Marquette occupies 4th place in the Menard's AA at 30-26.

In the first inning, Li had a 3-run home run for Marquette. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Miners on top, 4-0.
