The Lake Minnetonka Love Boats and Lancaster Farmers played an exciting game at Heron Field.

Lake Minnetonka Love Boats starter Coyote Peterson was in fine form against the Lancaster Farmers at Heron Field, leading his team to a 4-3 win. Lake Minnetonka reliever Gabriel García was the winner. His record is now 2-3. The losing pitcher was Sergio Castro. Petr Elfimov picked up the save for Lake Minnetonka, his 9th of the year.

Had Jose Asuncion not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 1st, Asuncion hit a run-scoring double. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Love Boats.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Asuncion. "And not try to do too much."

The Love Boats now own a record of 20-32.
