Fans who gathered at Marquette Stadium saw a good contest between the Minnesota Loons and Marquette Miners.
Minnesota starter Joe Wagner pitched effectively against the Marquette Miners at Marquette Stadium. The right-hander led his team to a 6-4 win. Minnesota is 7th in the Menard's AA with a record of 26-25.
Minnesota relied on the hitting of Van Durr to pick up the win. The left fielder ripped a bases-clearing triple in the top of the third inning to put the Loons on top, 4-0. For the game, Durr had 1 triple and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Durr.
