Lancaster Farmers starter Kyle Greene was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Marquette Miners, 2-0. With the win, the Farmers have a record of 15-26.
The Farmers grabbed the lead in the bottom of the third. With one out, Dave Young, who is tied for 8th in the 3AA with a .519 slugging percentage, hit a solo home run off Rob Bates, putting Lancaster in front, 2-0. For Young, it was his 10th home run of the season.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Greene.
