The Pawnee ParksNRec electrified the home crowd at Whips Ballpark with a walk-off win.

Pennsauken got a terrific performance from third baseman Bras Castanheta, but it wasn't enough to beat the Pawnee ParksNRec. Pawnee won the Whips Ballpark contest, 8-7. Castanheta was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs, a double, and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Pawnee is in 7th place in the Silver AAA with a record of 50-52.

Elmer Kent was the walk-off hero for Pawnee. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the ParksNRec pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Kent.
