Multi-HR Day for Goldobenko as Brass Overpower Coyotes, 9-4
The Baton Rouge Brass defeated the Hamilton Coyotes, 9-4, at Brass Field. Baton Rouge designated hitter Stephen Goldobenko was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 3-4 with 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. The Brass bumped their record to 58-42 with this latest triumph.

Goldobenko had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a first pitch fastball from Jeff Merritt, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Brass a 5-4 lead. It was the 11th home run of the year for Goldobenko.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Goldobenko.
