Warriors Pull Even With 3-2 Victory
|
The Forest City Warriors got a good effort from starter Randy Ryan in defeating the Florida Men at Psychos Ballpark. The final score was 3-2. The losing streak for Florida has now reached 4 games.
Forest City used the timely hitting of Lawrence Stokes to capture the win. The left fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Warriors on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.
"We'll enjoy this win," said Ryan. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
