The Monongahela Monsters knocked off the Pennsauken Flyers, 8-5, at Timber Hawks Ballpark. Colt Allen, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Monongahela won. The designated hitter went 2 for 4 with a home run, a triple, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Their 49-48 record puts the Monsters 4th in the Silver AAA.

The two teams provided some entertaining baseball for the Timber Hawks Ballpark crowd. Regardless of the outcome, a good time was had by all.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Allen.
