Neef Excels in Hialeah Win
|
Behind the bravura of designated hitter Eddie Neef, the Hialeah Dodos topped the Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys by the score of 8-3. Neef went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Dodos. Mike Park recorded his 1st save for Hialeah. The Dodos raised their record to 41-49.
Chrysler Rodriguez, who is tied for 4th in the SAAA in extra base hits with 36, contributed to the Hialeah win with a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the center fielder had 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 2 runs scored, and 1 run batted in.
