The Pennsauken Flyers beat the Florida Men, 7-5, at Psychos Ballpark. Pennsauken right fielder Rafael Barrueco earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Dong-hua Hao got credit for the win, improving to 6-3. He allowed 2 runs on 2 hits in 1.2 innings. Hermenegildo Beliago sewed up the save, his 6th.

Barrueco had a game-changing single in the top of the ninth. On a full count fastball from Norberto Huerta, he banged a 2-run single to center, giving the Flyers a 7-5 lead. It was the 70th hit of the year for Barrueco.

In postgame comments to the Pennsauken News, Barrueco said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."

Pennsauken now owns a record of 48-41.
