The Barton Springs Blues beat the Lancaster Farmers, 5-4, at Farmers Field. The win was largely due to the efforts of left fielder Denny Wolfe, who captured player of the game honors. Barton Springs took a 5-4 lead on Wolfe's 1st home run of the season. The solo home run, which he hit off Ralph Hanscombe in the top of the sixth, propelled Barton Springs to the win.
