Highlanders Roll to 8-0 Win Over Love Boats
|
Rubén Santana pitched a gem to lead Asheville to a 8-0 victory over the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats. Santana got the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed 3 hits and walked 1 over 6.1 innings. Santana allowed no earned runs. The Highlanders raised their record to 4-6.
Asheville used the clutch hitting of Amani Marwan to capture the win. The right fielder drilled a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to give the Highlanders the lead, 4-0. For the game, Marwan had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.
