Águila Hits 2 home runs in Leviathan Win
The Nova Scotia Leviathan defeated the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC, 19-9, in Menard's Third League action at Great Northern Field, with Nova Scotia right fielder Ricardo Águila named player of the game. Poom Saksansin got credit for the win, improving to 4-0. He allowed 1 run on 5 hits in 3.1 innings. Nicolaas Eland earned his 3rd save in 7 chances.

Nova Scotia relied on the hitting of Danny Trautmann to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Leviathan on top, 2-0. For the game, Trautmann had 1 home run and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Águila.

Nova Scotia now sits in third place in the Third League at 64-44.
