Battery Walk It Off for 31st Win of Season
The Battery had to overcome a fine effort from Buffalo pitcher Bertrand Scotton to grab a narrow 2-1 win at Charleston Armory. Scotton went 7 innings and allowed no earned runs. Charleston reliever Amberlan Romubio picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Liam Thomson absorbed the loss. Charleston has now won 4 straight, while the White Walkers have lost 4 in a row.

Mariano Juderías was the walk-off hero for Charleston. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Battery right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

Juderías told a Charleston Daily News reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
