Rigsby Breezes to Shutout Victory
|
An efficient outing for John Rigsby usually means a win for the Toledo Stingers and today was no exception. The 32-year-old right-hander held the Echo Park Lakers to a long line of goose eggs. He struck out 5 and gave up 4 hits in the 7-0 shutout.
"John really got it done out there today," said Toledo manager TJ Reynolds.
This year Rigsby has fanned 49 in 92 innings and collected a 7-1 record with a 2.25 ERA.
